AWANA equips local volunteers in churches with Biblical evangelism and discipleship solutions so that today’s children may become tomorrow’s Christian leaders.

The goal of AWANA is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God. While it’s a serious mission, we believe having fun in the process is a great tool for reaching young people!  We have snacks, game time, puppets for the younger groups and Scripture memory, and don’t forget the AWANA store!

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, coming from

2 Timothy 2:15 where it reads “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

Come join in the fun, there’s a group waiting just for your child!

We start a new year each fall, but it’s never too late to jump in!

Some things to know:

1)  We meet in the gym building, it is our rear building, and you can enter the side parking lot from Callonwood Dr.  You’ll enter through the glass door on the far right of the building.  This will also be where you can come in to register your child and pick children up each night.

2)  They can come dressed comfortably, preferably in shoes for running and playing games!

3)  There is a $20 registration fee per child to cover materials and uniforms ($50 limit for families with multiple children).  If you can not cover the $20/child, come anyway!

4)  Your children will be safe, loved and will be taught the Bible in a fun and creative way!  Feel free to stay your first time to see what they do, and to see why they will enjoy it so much!
