Sunday Opportunities
NURSERY –
Every Sunday during our Sunday School hour (9:00 AM) and during our Worship hour (10:00 AM) we have a full nursery staffed by angels! Ok, not quite, but almost! We have fully capable, completely loving and overly qualified volunteers who are eager to minister to your children so you are available to participate in your own classes and corporate worship when here.
Each volunteer goes through current and updated training, as well as submits to yearly background checks, and no volunteer is ever left alone with any child. Our volunteers love serving your family through our nursery ministry!
CHILDREN’S CHURCH –
A fan favorite, every Sunday! We offer Children’s Church every Sunday morning, starting at 10:00 AM right off of our Worship Center. Our K-5th grade students aren’t far out of reach, but are in their own fun world of Bible study, games, activities and crafts that teach them biblical truths and principles at their own speed, and in ways that they enjoy immensely!
AWANA –
Quite possibly the BEST thing we do here at Pleasant Plains, and that’s because we have the chance to tell children about Jesus, they learn to memorize Scripture, and there’s always TONS of kids!
AWANA is for all children ages 3 years-5th grade. We meet during the school year starting at 6:00 PM-7:15 PM each Sunday night.

Midweek (Wednesday) Opportunities
B.I.G. F.I.S.H.
(Believers In God, Faithful In Serving Him!) meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 PM each week and go through several Bible series. They have been through the 10 Commandments, the Parables of Jesus and many other series that the kids love! And of course, there’s some crazy zany games each week too that they love! Come out and enjoy the fun during the middle of the week to keep our batteries charged our faith growing!
