Welcome to Spring Fest!

We love hosting our community at events throughout the year and having the chance to meet new friends! A little information we hope will be helpful for you as you are our guest for this event can be found below. And if something is missing or not answered, you can reach us directly at 704-847-9237, or email us at info@pleasantplains.org

Things to know:

  1. Yes, you are invited! This is open to the entire community, whoever is willing to come enjoy the day!

  2. Park in the grass field directly across the street from the church (3315 Pleasant Plains Road). There will be parking attendants to help guide you.

  3. When you go to cross the street, Stallings PD will be there to stop traffic so you and your family can cross safely. You can also park next door at LeafSpring School, on the same side of the street as PPBC.

  4. The first thing you'll want to do is head straight for our Registration tents, whether you park and walk up, or walk up from the Callonwood side entrance. At the tents, when you register upon arrival, you will receive a ticket for each person in your party for a FREE Pelican's Snoball, a bag for carrying any goodies you'll receive at the various stations, and you can scan a QR code to see the map of the event.

  5. If you need restrooms or changing station, we have those available inside, just follow our sidewalk signs.

  6. If you have any questions during the day or need help with anything, please ask anyone in a bright blue shirt. All volunteers will be wearing these blue shirts that say "Here to Serve" on the front, and "Volunteer" on the back, to make helpers easy for you to find!

  7. You'll have some information tents as well for Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, as well as Pleasant Plains Christian School. If there is anything this church family can do for your family, we'll look forward to meeting you at the tent and answering any questions you may have. The school tent will help you if you have an interest in an excellent Christian education for your children, grades preschool through middle school. You can schedule tours and even register!

  8. From there, you can ride the rides, play on the inflatables and obstacle courses without any ticketing, just get in line!

  9. We have some sponsors who have set up a tent, please be sure to stop by there and play their games and get the prizes, they're excited to see you too!

  10. Our Petting Zoo is going to be awesome, stop and see all the animals, just be sure to listen to their handlers for pointers, and maybe to help feed them!

  11. We have a Photo booth, be sure to get your souvenir photos taken with all the goofy props and backdrops!

  12. Don't forget! We have a fun family-friendly ventriloquist doing a show every hour, on the half hour, Steve Brogan.10:30, 11:30, 12:30 & 1:30. This is located in our Worship Center and we'll do our best to remind you throughout the day!

  13. If you need a drink of water while you're outside, we have a Hydration Station, or if you are in need of First Aid care, we have both available about halfway between the carnival rides and inflatables, just look for that on our sidewalk signs.

  14. If you haven't already, get a funnel cake, just follow the smells!

  15. When you're hungry after all the activities, follow sidewalk signs and the smoke from the grill into the gym. Inside, we'll have a free lunch for everyone!

  16. Lion's Club will be set up in our gym, offering free vision testing. Last year, they were able to diagnose several children early who needed further care and were able to schedule follow up visits. That's not all though, your visit to the Lion's Club tent will also have a cool gift waiting for you!

  17. If you didn't already, stop near the Ferris wheel for a chance to get your face painted and some glitter tattoo art done, it's all very impressive!

Lastly, when you leave, hopefully having enjoyed your time and made memories you won't ever forget, please leave knowing that PPBC loves you, because God first loved by sending His Son Jesus. Everything we do is to try to share Jesus with those we are blessed to encounter, and that includes you! If you would like to know more, or have any questions, please stop at our PPBC tent, or stop anyone in a blue shirt and let's talk! You are welcome at Spring Fest, but know that you are ALWAYS welcome at Pleasant Plains, and we would love to have you back any and every time that you can be here. This is a special church that we would love to have you come worship and serve with us. We meet Sundays at 10 AM, and we already can't wait to have you back again!
